Veelgestelde vragen
How long should I write?
There are no rules. Five minutes or five hours — the prompt is just a starting point you can take wherever you like.
Can I combine two prompts?
Yes. Open Options and check "Combine two" to get a mashup of two seeds for a more surprising starting point.
Are prompts repeated or truly random?
Each prompt is drawn at random using the Web Crypto API, so the selection is unbiased and you can keep rolling for something new.
Does my writing get sent anywhere?
The tool runs entirely in your browser and only generates prompts; nothing you write or generate is uploaded to a server.

"Draw anything you want" is the hardest assignment there is. Here's how handing yourself a random animal — plus its one-line fact — breaks blank-page paralysis for sketching, journaling, and classroom warm-ups alike.
- A random photo prompt to break the "nothing to shoot" rut
The hardest part of a photography habit isn't the camera — it's deciding what to point it at. Here's how a one-click random photography prompt gives you a constraint to chase, and why a constraint beats a blank day.
- Beat the blank page: using random prompts to actually start
Creative block is rarely a shortage of ideas — it's the paralysis of too many. Here's how a single random writing, drawing, or photo prompt narrows the field enough to begin, and how to build a daily practice around it.
