Frequently asked questions

Which generations are supported?

You can pick any subset from Gen 1 through Gen 9, including DLC additions.

Can I avoid duplicate types?

Turn on Type-balanced in the options. Note that this is simplified — it uses only the first listed Pokémon name.

How random are the picks?

Each team is drawn using your browser's Web Crypto API, so the selection is unbiased within your chosen filters.

Is anything I choose sent to a server?

No. The generator runs entirely in your browser and works offline, so your filter choices stay on your device.
